Last week a lime green Lamborghini crashed on PCH near Cappy’s Cafe. The crash was so loud it easily awoke me and most of the neighborhood from a sound sleep.

San Diego Zoo has a new Koala exhibit that has been publicized all around town. Koalafornia….check out the TV commercial they are running.
Last week, West Newport residents received the below mailer from the US Army Corps of Engineers. It provides information on the Santa Ana River Marsh Dredging Project and the Newport Beach Pipeline. 
A storm raged last night and ended up pushing the “Newort Beach Pipeline” up onto the beach. The pipe took over two weeks to assemble and a day to drag out to sea. It only took one stormy night to spit it back up on the shore. I think Mother Nature might be telling us something.

The LA Harbor Strike is still on and the harbor is filling up. The Container Ships are spilling out of the a harbor. Just how many large vessels can the LA harbor take?

Eclipse This Sunday & stuff
Posted: 05/17/2012 by goodie in hikes, HQ, Music, news, pics, UncategorizedAnother busy weekend is shaping up. On Sunday there will be a solar eclipse and hopefully you will see it. This rare event will be cool to watch from the beach. 5 to 8 PM best viewing time, hope for a clear sunset.
I will also be watching some of the live stream of The HangOut Music Fest as well as participating in a friends Baby Shower and planning for our upcoming Memorial Day get together!
Sorry that the beach cam has been out of order for awhile…..it will be back soon.
