Beautiful waterfall on one of the best beaches on earth….rare treat over the weekend!
A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to get a tour of the Griffith House in Three Arch Bay. It’s an amazing home with so much movie history. The house was built in the 1920’s by movie director Edward Griffith. Featuring a main home, 2 other guest houses…one that’s an old boat cabin, private beach, lighthouse and custom built in salt water pool. This home is currently for sale and I really hope that someone purchases it with the mind set to keep it how it always has been! It’s a special and historic property. Just a reminder the whole area is private property…no trespassing.
Over the last few years, soft top surf boards have exploded onto the SoCal surf scene. In my mind, the deity behind this movement is Jack Coleman…although he may tell you otherwise. Jack has basically given up on any of his hard board surfing as he looks for a new feeling, a different glide and a way to say F off to mainstream surf culture. Check Jack out in his new web series Soft Top Revolution.

Congrats Jason. Thanks for making this film as well!
During the Labor Day swell, the southern California lifeguards were super busy rescuing over 2000 people in total. During that weekend, word quickly spread to me that there had been an air lift rescue from the private cove of Three Arch Bay. I can only imagine what the pilot was thinking when they were coming in for the landing….sketchy area for beach landing!
